Ben White Ben was born in Sulphur, Louisiana but soon moved to Bay City, Texas where he grew up. He graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and made Fort Worth, Texas his home in 1959 when he went to work for Tyson Building Corporation. As a construction troubleshooter for a metal building manufacturer, Ben became a metal building expert. Ben assumed full ownership of Tyson in 1980. He is married, has three children and eight grandchildren. He is also a 32nd degree Mason. Ben enjoys fishing, hunting and travel. Ben was a charter member and served as President of the Metal Building Dealers Association in the early seventies, currently called Texas Systems Building Association. He was also a member of the Executive Association. |
